Health Services at Hope Lutheran Church for Preschool parents and children

- Available for 1:1 appointments and phone consultations regarding children’s or family member’s health issues. (diseases and conditions, insurance, medications, behavior, hospitalizations, treatments…) Office hours at Hope Lutheran Church are Monday thru Fridays 8am-4pm by appointment or in the morning before/after preschool by appointment.
- Provides preschool education related to physical, mental or spiritual health issues in 4-5 yr old classroom each month accompanied by information on topic for parents to teach at home. Topics include: Bullying, Strangers and 911, Fitness, Feelings, Screen Time, Sportsmanship, Self-Esteem, Healthy Snacking, Safe and Healthy Summer.
- Provides referral to health professional services in community: physicians, counselors, speech, occupational or physical therapists, community agencies and resources.
- Visits individuals while in hospital to advocate for the patient and family.
